Deposits and payment rules per service

Each service can say how it is paid for: in the salon, with a deposit, in full when booking, or with a card held. The rule overrides the salon-wide setting.

Managers and above
Where to find it
Dashboard > More > Services > a service > Payment rule
  1. Step 1: Open the service and find Payment rule.
  2. Step 2: Choose Pay at salon, Deposit required (a fixed amount or a percentage), Full payment at booking or Card on file.
  3. Step 3: Press Save.

Check it worked: The service shows its payment rule in the list.

Note: Deposits, full payment and card on file only take effect once online payments are switched on for your salon. Until then every client pays in the salon.
