How Salony handles money
Clients pay you in the salon by cash or card at the desk, and you record it at checkout. Online payment is a switch you turn on later. Salony takes no commission on any plan.

In the salon
Nothing to set up. At checkout you press Cash or Card and Salony records the payment against the booking. Your card machine stays exactly as it is.
Online, when you switch it on
Clients can pay a deposit or the full price by card when they book, and you can send a payment link for a booking. This is a switch in Settings, connected through Salony. Until it is on, every client pays in the salon.
What you can see
- Payments in the dashboard: every payment, by method, with anything not yet recorded.
- Takings in your Salony account: your income month by month.
- Reports in your Salony account: exports prepared for your accountant.
Check it worked: You know where each figure comes from before you look for it.
