The words we use

Salony uses salon words, not software words. These are the few that have a precise meaning here.

Booking

One client, one service, one time, one team member. Everything in the Diary is a booking.

Anyone who books with you. One record each, however they book.

Anyone who works in the salon and takes bookings. Also the lowest role.

Someone who rents a space in your salon and runs their own business there. They have their own earnings and their own clients.

The calendar: day, week and month views and the bookings list.

The live view of the floor: who is in, who is next, who needs checking out.

Money still due today from bookings not yet paid for.

A manager agreeing a final price above what the client was quoted.

A skin test recorded on the client before a service that needs one can be confirmed.

Part of the price paid when booking online, once online payments are on.

Recording how a completed booking was paid, so takings match the till.

Money you received, by month and by method, in your Salony account.

A team member who takes bookings, for the purpose of your plan.
